The NSWPHA 2008 Half Price Stallion Service Sale will commence on 1st August, 2008 and ballots will be accepted from 9am until 7pm (EST) each day by either phone, fax, email or mail (date received not posted)

If more than one bid is received for any stallion on any day, a draw will be conducted for that service by placing all bids 'in a hat' and a winner and reserve will be selected by (or witnessed by) an independent third party who will sign off on the ballot. |

The winning bidder shall be advised the following day and will have a further 4 days business days to make payment to the NSWPHA. Should the winning bidder fail to make payment within the specified time, their bid shall be in default and the service will be offered to the reserve bidder or returned to the sale for re-bidding. |
|
Bids will be accepted until 1st October, 2008.
Members of the NSWPHA committee will be permitted to bid for stallion services with the same rights and obligations as other members. |
|
Services may be transferable with the agreement of the stallion owner. Services are for the 2008 breeding season only unless by specific agreement with the Stallion Owner. |
|
All mare agistment costs and vet fees or semen collection and shipment fees will be at the expense of the mare owner. The mare owner will need to liaise directly with the stallion owner with regard to these additional costs. |
|
NSWPHA will not be held liable for additional costs incurred by either stallion owner or purchaser. |
|
Should the stallion become unavailable through illness or death or the like before the nominated mare is in foal, the purchase fee may be refunded to the purchaser by the NSWPHA. |
