People who advertise horses for sale on the NSWPHA web site are warned that there are internet scammers out there who will pretend to want to purchase your horse in order to obtain your banking and other personal details.
DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS TO ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW
Be extremely wary of email enquiries that appear a little 'odd' and from people who do not identify themselves. Similar to the bank scam emails, you can report such emails to consumer affairs.
